Summer Scars

Feature film ’Summer Scars’ is a psychological drama based on a true story. A group of urban teens bunk off school for a day in the woods. There, they befriend a lone enigmatic man who, at first, seems friendly. What happens next forces them to grow up fast.

We designed and created the opening and closing title sequences using graffiti-style typography merged with clips from the film.

How’s it done?

We created the graffiti wall as one huge image in Photoshop. Using After Effects, a virtual camera was then created to pan and zoom around the virtual space. The animated sequences were achieved by rotoscoping (tracing) the live footage and posterising the results. Finally the credits were added.
