4 JULY 2025: THE BILL PASSES!
After years of campaigning, groundbreaking legislation to #CrackdownOnPuppySmuggling has cleared the House of Commons! FOUR PAWS UK have been campaigning on this issue for years, and this is a HUGE WIN for animals.

UP are proud to have played our part. As the Bill was being debated in Parliament, MPs and the public would have struggled to miss our Westminster tube take-over. Spanning the escalators and ticket barriers, and right along the corridor to the Houses of Parliament, the graphics carry a clear, urgent message: Westminster, will you be their voice?

The two-week takeover, supporting the Animal Welfare (Import of Dogs, Cats and Ferrets) Bill to stop the cross-border puppy trade, placed the message right in front of decision-makers heading into Parliament.

A powerful brief, and an even more powerful cause. And the MPs listened.

The main walkway to the MPs entrance featured our bespoke image, dogs in Parliament: if only they could speak for themselves. The undercover video shows puppies being shown to prospective owners; they’re just two weeks old.

The megawall (below) demonstrates the journey the puppies take from Europe to the UK, torn away from their mothers far too young and made to endure cross-border journeys up to 33 hours as they travel to unsuspecting new families.
