90% of all pigs in the UK are killed in gas chambers – where they painfully suffocate to death. But how many of us know about this?

A YouGov survey commissioned by Animal Justice Project in May 2026 revealed that 75% of people in the UK know very little or nothing about how pigs are slaughtered.

So how do you make an invisible issue impossible to ignore?

Enter Turn Off The Gas – a campaign with a 12-tonne road tanker designed to look like a giant gas chamber.

We’re incredibly proud to have supported Animal Justice Project by sourcing and wrapping this stonking tanker, making a very public statement about what happens behind slaughterhouse doors.

It travelled right through the heart of London and up and down the country, taking the message to the streets and putting a hidden reality firmly in people’s eyeline.
